How we create our content.
Our guides are written for fabricators, checked against primary sources, and corrected when we get something wrong.
Scope and purpose
We publish guides, comparisons, benchmarks, and reference material for stone and surface fabrication shops. Content exists to help shop owners, estimators, and crews make better decisions — about software, material, workflow, and shop operations. Pages are written by the Lithiq team, who have worked in and around fabrication shops.
Sourcing and fact-checking
Claims about third-party products (competitors, materials, equipment, standards) are verified against primary sources before publication — vendor documentation, published pricing pages, official standards, and manufacturer specifications. We do not rely on secondhand summaries for factual claims about other companies.
When a vendor's published details change or cannot be confirmed, we say so in the article and recommend confirming directly with the vendor. Material and equipment facts — weights, thicknesses, tolerances, compatibility — are checked against manufacturer or industry references.
Independence in comparisons
Comparison articles describe competitor products honestly, including what they do well. We name strengths where they exist and describe trade-offs rather than dismissing alternatives. Lithiq is identified as the publisher on every page — we don't disguise our own content as neutral third-party reviews.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and consistency checks. Every article is reviewed and edited by the Lithiq team before publication, and factual claims are verified against primary sources as described above. AI never publishes unreviewed content.
Corrections
When we find an error, we fix the article and note the correction where the fix is material. If you spot a mistake — a wrong spec, an outdated price, a broken link — tell us at our contact page and we'll correct it.
Updates and maintenance
Pricing and product-comparison content is reviewed on a regular cadence — pricing benchmarks are refreshed at least quarterly. Guides are updated when tools, standards, or best practices change. Each page carries the month of publication or last major update.
