Origin — Seattle, Washington

The project that
started it all.

Lithiq was born in the shop — not in a boardroom. Our founders spent years on the fabrication floor, and then came a residential project with nearly seven figures of natural stone in a single home. One house. Hundreds of surfaces. Zero room for error.

That job laid every pinch point bare: pieces tracked in spreadsheets, approvals chasing clients through email threads, change orders lost in text messages, and shop teams left guessing what was next. We watched good, profitable work turn into chaos simply because the tools never fit how a stone shop actually runs.

So we built the tool we wished we had — a platform that connects every phase of a stone job, from the initial measure and estimate through planning, fabrication, delivery, and installation.

The road here

From the fabrication floor to the platform.

01

Years on the floor

The people behind Lithiq spent years fabricating and installing stone — long before writing a line of software.

02

The job that broke the tools

A residential project with nearly seven figures of natural stone in one home. Hundreds of surfaces, zero room for error — and spreadsheets that couldn't carry it.

03

Building Lithiq OS

The tool we wished we had: drawing, estimating, inventory, scheduling, and client portals connected to one job record.

04

Open to founders

Now working directly with fabrication shops — shipping improvements every week from real shop feedback.

Principles

Our values

Built for the shop floor

Every tool is designed for the people who actually cut and install stone. If it doesn't work in the shop, it doesn't ship.

Simple by design

We believe powerful software doesn't have to be complicated. Clean interfaces, clear workflows, minimal clicks.

Open by default

Share field plans with a link. No accounts required for your crew. Everything works on their phone — no app store, no installation.

Constant improvement

We release updates every week based on real feedback from shops like yours. The platform gets better every single day.

How we work

How we work with shops.

Weekly releases

The platform ships improvements every week, driven by feedback from the shops using it — not a yearly boxed version.

Onboarding at no extra cost

Onboarding specialists help migrate your data, configure your pricing, and train your team — included, not invoiced.

A direct line to us

Feedback and bug reports go straight to the people building the product. When a shop tells us something is broken, we fix it — not a ticket into a void.

Documentation that's kept current

The help center and guides are updated alongside the product, so the answer you find is the answer that's true.
